I really love the simple things in life. The majesty of a sunsets fleeting glory, the seemingly never ending calls of a cicada on a summer evening, the smell of history like old books and houses, and a good cigar. Yes I said a good cigar. Ever since my trip to South America a good cigar every-so-quietly entered my itenerary of favorites. Its funny how those simple things can have such a big impact on life and the things you love to do in life.
My photography is one that reflects those passions for the uncomplicated. I find myself drawn to the delicate color of a morning glory or the contrasting hues of a bowl of fruit. Things that make you stop if only for a moment to view them from some undiscovered perspective.
